  • Core: This part is WordPress itself, and it’s free and downloadable.
  • Themes: There are many free themes, but there are also paid resources outside the repository, these themes can be used to change the look of the website.
  • Plugins: These tools extend the capabilities of WordPress with utilities, from something simple, to entirely change the operation of the web. There are plugins to share on social networks, to have an online store, to improve the performance of the site, to create widgets, etc.
